There are two school districts that are zoned for Central Colorado Springs students Harrison School District 2 and Colorado Springs School District 11. Harrison School District 2 is ranked Number 2 in El Paso County with 26 schools within its district. According to Greatschools.org, Mountain Vista Community School was given an 8/10 rating, Sand Creek International Elementary School, Soaring Eagles Elementary School and James Irwin Charter Elementary School were all given a 7/10 rating, Atlas Preparatory Middle School, Oak Creek Elementary School, Wildflower Elementary School and Otero Elementary School were all rated 6/10, Giberson Elementary School, Pikes Peak Elementary School, Stratmoor Hills Elementary School, Stratton Meadows Elementary School and Turman Elementary School received a 5/10 rating. A majority of the 26 schools within the Harrison School District received average ratings or higher explaining why they are ranked number 2 in the county. 

Colorado Springs School District 11 has 55 schools within the district and is ranked Number 11 in El Paso County. According to Greatschools.org, Chipeta Elementary School scored a 9/10 rating, Bristol Elementary School, Columbia Elementary School, Steele Elementary School and Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning received 8/10 ratings, Rudy Elementary School and Globe Charter School received a 7/10 rating, Edison Elementary School, Grant Elementary School, Jackson Elementary School, Penrose Elementary School, Stratton Elementary School, Taylor Elementary School, King Elementary School and Scott Elementary School all received 6/10 ratings. There are plenty of other schools within the district, while their rankings aren't as high as the ones mentioned above with 55 schools in the district, being ranked number 11 is exceptional.
