According to Greatschools.org, Mountain Vista Community School was given an 8/10 rating, Sand Creek International Elementary School, Soaring Eagles Elementary School and James Irwin Charter Elementary School were all given a 7/10 rating, Atlas Preparatory Middle School, Oak Creek Elementary School, Wildflower Elementary School and Otero Elementary School were all rated 6/10, Giberson Elementary School, Pikes Peak Elementary School, Stratmoor Hills Elementary School, Stratton Meadows Elementary School and Turman Elementary School received a 5/10 rating. A majority of the 26 schools within the Harrison School District received average ratings or higher explaining why they are ranked number 2 in the county.
Colorado Springs School District 11 has 55 schools within the district and is ranked Number 11 in El Paso County.
