The Holland Park neighborhood is attractive to military families due to the close proximity to Peterson Air Force Base and the Air Force Academy are only minutes away. Aside from the conveniences of amenities and military installments, Manitou Springs is also nearby offering various attractions, exploring and amazing views. Manitou Springs is nestled between Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak there are plenty of hiking and biking trails to accommodate any skill level. Although there are plenty of recreation opportunities right in the Holland Park neighborhood with Jackson Park and Douglas Creek Open Space. Jackson Park is an almost 10-acre park that is equipped with a baseball/softball field, playground and football field. Douglas Creek Open Space consists of approximately 22 acres of open space with access to Sinton Trail. 

Schools in Holland Park

Students in Holland Park are zoned to Colorado Springs School District 11 for their education needs. Colorado Springs School District 11 offers standard public schooling as well as Charter Schools. For residents of Holland Park, the primary schools they are assigned are Jackson Elementary School rated 6/10 by Greatschools.org, and Holmes Middle School and Coronado High School rated 4/10. There are many more schools within the district that students may attend as well, if they choose to attend a different school they need to apply.
