The residents of Ivywild are served by two Colorado Springs School Districts, Colorado Springs District 11 and Cheyenne Mountain School DIstrict 12. Colorado Springs School District 11 has 55 schools within the district and is ranked Number 11 in El Paso County. According to Greatschools.org, Chipeta Elementary School scored a 9/10 rating, Bristol Elementary School, Columbia Elementary School, Steele Elementary School and Academy for Advanced and Creative Learning received 8/10 ratings, Rudy Elementary School and Globe Charter School received a 7/10 rating, Edison Elementary School, Grant Elementary School, Jackson Elementary School, Penrose Elementary School, Stratton Elementary School, Taylor Elementary School, King Elementary School and Scott Elementary School all received 6/10 ratings. There are plenty of other schools within the district, while their rankings aren't as high as the ones mentioned above with 55 schools in the district, being ranked number 11 is exceptional. 

Cheyenne Mountain School District 12 is made up of five elementary schools, one junior high school, one high school and one charter school. According to Greatschools.org, Broadmoor Elementary School and Cheyenne Mountain Elementary School were given an exceptional 9/10 rating, Pinon Valley Elementary School, Gold Camp Elementary School and Cheyenne Mountain High School received an 8/10 rating, The Vanguard School rated 7/10 and Skyway Park Elementary School and Cheyenne Mountain Junior High School received a 6/10 rating.

Ivywild homes are a melting pot of sorts with a wide variety of home styles due to homes being in various decades leading back to the turn of the century. Most recently The Canyon Creek Townhomes were built bringing more modern day living to the historic part of town. Canyon Creek Townhomes does have a Homeowners Association that is managed by Diversified Association Management, the rest of the Ivywild neighborhood is not under a mandatory homeowners association. Homes in Ivywild do range in price anywhere from the upper $200s to the mid $500s.
